12 Baby Chicks, 3 Baby Cows, and 1 Super Cute Baby Boy!

It has been awhile! Who would've thought that one tiny human could take up so much time?! ( I know, all you mom veterans out there would have). Just wanted to post a short(ish) update on life since we brought Randall home. If you are following me on Facebook then you may have a seen one or two pictures of the little guy :) Every time I am asked what motherhood is like, I can only respond one way: It is every emotion that ever existed, and I feel all of those emotions so much deeper then I did before. I mean, this kid has me feeling like a crazy person half of the time! It makes no sense that he can keep me up all night and still make me feel like all I want to do is kiss him the next day. Nobody else could get away with that! Like right now for instance, he has been asleep for about an hour and I was sooo ready for him to go to bed, but I actually miss him! But if he woke up, I would be like "noooooooo", but as soon as I picked him up, I would be kissing his little face and telling him how much I love him and saying "Mommy's here". It is unlike anything else, this Mom thing :)

Anyway, on to the Stone House new developments!

A few months ago Patrick and I bought 4 cows, Agnes, Hershey, Clementine, and Opal. All 4 of our girls were expecting babies, yay!

Clementine had her baby only 3 days after we got her, we named him Beau.

Then, on February 12th, Hershey and Agnes BOTH had their babies! It was a busy day on the Cow Farm!
This is Hershey and her baby Girl, Daisy
This is Agnes and her baby boy Easton

The 3 babies are so cute! They run all over the pasture together!

Poor Opal is still waiting for her baby day. Bless her heart.

In other baby news................we got chicks! We have been wanting to get chickens for a long time and we finally decided to go for it!

12 babies that will stay in the house for 6-8 weeks and then we will move them out to the chicken coop that Patrick is building!

Patrick is also fencing in the front yard, which is going to be great for Bessie and Randall! Randall had a great time sitting outside the other day watching Daddy work!

And the final update this evening is that our Randall Tate turned 7 months old! (Although, there is no February 30th so does that mean I get to keep him at 6 months?) Randall is changing everyday it seems! He is sitting up all by himself, he says "mama" and "dada", and in addition to his two bottom teeth, he just cut one of his top teeth today! He is starting to enjoy eating different things, although he still prefers Mama's good milk for the most part which is fine with me :) He is soooo close to crawling, but after getting up on fours and rocking back and forth a few times, he eventually just stops, drops and rolls to where ever he wants to go. Life is so much better with Randall Tate!
Hello Handsome!
